Label and Annotation Project

 

 Here is my attempt at the map for the Label and Annotation project.  The streams were really hard to get looking good, especially trying to get the curve to look right. The jpg version on the screen looks a lot busier (and fuzzier) than the printout does.

First Assignment

I'm excited to learn more about GIS, and in the classroom this time around. I got a lot out of taking the online version and having to figure a lot out for myself, but having classmates and the teacher handy to help and answer questions means my skills will improve that much more. Answering other people's questions also helps me learn.

I had trouble remembering how to do some things with the program and knowing the best way to do a task with the landslide exercise. And that's after only not using the program for a few weeks! There is so much to learn and remember it seems overwhelming sometimes, just have to take it one step at a time.
